5 Great Websites for Kids

A Google search for “Video Websites for Kids” brings up 15,300,000 results, clearly a very popular search term on the web. The real question is, who has time to sort through all 15 million to find those that are safe for children? Kids too should have access to the online world, but most parents want the content they find to be monitored and kid-friendly.

So here are five online video streaming websites for kids that are closest to a responsible parent’s heart, and of course the kid’s:

Kideos – Segmented by age from 0 – 10 and above, every video is screened by a Video Advisory Council before it makes it on this site. Kideo’s goal is to allow parents to feel comfortable while making sure children are thoroughly entertained.
Kideo Player – This Kid-safe YouTube website has become the most common place to keep the kids entertained. There are plenty of videos that your kids can enjoy.
KidMango – From preschool all the way up to 12 years old—kids explore this world of content based on their age range, ensuring that they’re only met with KidMango’s live-action and animated series specific to their age and taste
Kids Tube – Kids are encouraged to explore their creativity and share their ideas with other kids from all over the world on Kids Tube. Weekly Contests start every Monday based on the topic of the week. All video entries are viewed by the staff and one winner is selected to receive the prize for that week.
Kidz Bop – delivering safe and entertaining music for kids for 10 years, Kidz Bop offers the biggest hits sung by kids for kids for children ages 5-12.

Websites appropriate for kids are not overflowing on the web like their adult counterparts, but this short list is an excellent place for you and your young ones to have some safe, quality time together. If you’re looking for more, just let us know.
